You already know what I'm thinking, but...
The materialist orientation of science has had a deep influence on our current age, as has the "dominator" political paradigm. Together they've brought about an era of hierarchical authority, specialization, and a general distrust of anything not "proven," though proof is actually the work of mathematicians, not scientists or lawyers, and most who offer "proof" are rooted not in the rigors of science or math or justice, but are engaged in persuasion.

The truth is much bigger than what can be addressed by the sciences, by business or politics or even religion.

When we begin to open our awareness to the reality beyond our mentalized and institutionalized standards, we open to wholeness -- knowledge that may not be provable and may not be advocated by the institutions or the experts, but which comes to us through nature -- of which we are an intrinsic part.

Communications are more than words and definitions, more than personal intentions or the interpretations of others' behaviors. True knowing is more than a collection of information, and more than a set of rules and standards. Awareness is more than our thoughts and feelings, and it's more than the conclusions we draw from verbal debates or authoritative records. There's more to consciousness than what can be put into words.

What is real for us, beneath the thoughts and feelings -- at the level of our actual existence as living beings, is worthy of a deeper listening.
